Making an International Payment

Due to international payments legislation, it is important that relevant information is included on ALL international payment instructions going outside of the Eurozone i.e.

  1. full details of the payer and beneficiary (payee) e.g. name and address of both;

  2. reason for the payment e.g. invoice number & goods description, salary, house purchase, school fees etc.

to allow the processing of the payment and to avoid delays and possible rejection in the case of incomplete or insufficient information.
