Blogging for Sales: 6 Tips for Success
Sales professionals are turning in larger numbers to social selling and “blogging for sales” in particular. In many cases they are using LinkedIn to engage with a captured audience, writes Syl Cotter from The Sales Institute.
As a regular LinkedIn user, I am the recipient of “blogging for sales” efforts on an ongoing basis. I have read a lot of blogs that fall into the “blogging for sales” category and, in my opinion, the majority have been very poorly thought through and poorly executed. I have also come across some blogs that make great impact, and get the blogger noticed for their expertise and sound judgment.
With this in mind, I thought I might share what, in my opinion, are the key ingredients to writing a blog that will give you the best possible chance of being noticed and contacted by your sales targets.
